The Department of Community Development Abu Dhabi has launched Fit@Home, a free online workout series that encourages the community to lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle while at home.
The fitness programme, a collaboration between several government entities, offers fun, simple physical exercises that can be seamlessly integrated into daily work and life routines.
Phase 1 includes fun desk exercises to help people keep fit while working from home.
Further phases to launch in the coming weeks.

Digital Learning For All
An initiative that offers all UAE citizens and residents free access to online learning courses from some of the world’s top institutions, Digital Learning For All has been launched by the Abu Dhabi School of Government.
The online courses, available via ADSG’s e-learning platform, will provide all UAE residents with the opportunity to grow their skills while at home, in order to navigate evolving market conditions.
The initiative provides access to over 4,000 online courses from 190 of the world’s top institutions, offering opportunities to study for international online certificates and degree qualifications in a variety of fields.

ADSG has expanded its ‘Digital Learning for All’ initiative to include the ‘Professional Certification Programme’. The free programme provides professionals with additional skills and accredited qualifications to navigate evolving market conditions.
The programme is available for all UAE residents aged 20 - 45, to earn international accreditation from globally recognised professional bodies. The accredited course fields include accounting, finance, auditing and project management.

Youth Tech Competition
Department of Education and Knowledge and StartAD launched ‘YouthTech Competition’ - an initiative that encourages youth to develop tech-enabled startups which focus on providing digital solutions in the areas of education, economy, infrastructure and society.
The competition is designed to nurture a culture of entrepreneurship and ignite the spirit of inventive discovery amongst the youth, empowering and equipping them with the tools to transform their concepts into reality.

Parents Platform
Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority launched Parents Platform, a regional first offering the latest scientific studies, research and best practices for early child development, from pregnancy to 8 years old.
The Parents Platform aims to strengthen capabilities and confidence in parents and caregivers, to support children’s holistic development and well-being, and promotes Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority role in developing the early childhood development sector in the emirate.
